MSBA Capstones

CATT is proud to sponsor and facilitate the Capstone program as part of UT’s Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program.

Teams of MSBA graduate students are partnered with leading companies to investigate and work on current business problems. Students draw upon their intensive coursework in data science, programming, optimization, and finance to design and implement meaningful solutions for their partner companies. Notably, the work product is delivered to the partner company without fee.

Each year, CATT sponsors several faculty experts to mentor student teams and advise on certain Capstone projects.

The Capstone program truly represents a “win-win-win” for the industry, students, and the University. Indeed, some Capstone projects have sparked new, longer-term research collaborations between the industry and faculty.
